The music offering for All Saint's Day at Marietta First is an opportunity for those who have lost loved ones in the last year to an orchestra concert. We will be performing Gabriel Faure's iconic Requiem, written in 1887 as a remembrance for departed souls.
The music ministry at Marietta First commemorates All Saints’ Day with a service of music in remembrance of the faithful departed and those we have lost this past year due to the pandemic. The chancel choir and organ will present Gabriel Fauré’s iconic Requiem. Written in 1888, the requiem (Mass for the departed) is the most-known choral setting of Gabriel Fauré about eternal rest and consolation.
The music offering features the Marietta First Chancel Choir; Brian Parks, organ; Rainey Hill, Soprano; Craig Price, Baritone
We will see you at 5:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
