The elevator in Building B is currently out of service, and we are in the process of obtaining the necessary repairs. The elevator will be down for some time, as this is a major repair. For anyone who needs to use the Building B elevator, please use the Welcome Center entrance to access the elevator in Building A.

Donate Gently Used Adult Fall & Winter Clothing to support the Good Samaritan Ministry.
We’re collecting warm clothing for adults in need through the month of October.
Items needed: Coats, hats, gloves, belts, new socks, and underwear. Look for the collection bins at the entrances of the church.
October is Clergy Appreciation Month!
This month, we give thanks for our clergy and the faithful ministry they share with our church family. Take a moment to show your appreciation with a kind word, handwritten note, card, or message of encouragement. A simple gesture can mean so much! On November 1, at 3:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary, Associate Director of Music and organist Andrew Van Varick will be presenting his first organ recital on the Glatter-Götz pipe organ at Marietta FUMC. On the program will be a variety of works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Calvin Hampton, Herbert Howells, Louis Vierne, and more.
We will be selling tickets to the organ recital after both services on Sunday, October 25, and at Church Family Supper on Wednesday, October 28. PURCHASE TICKETS

World acclaimed Irish Tenor, Emmet Cahill, hails from Mullingar, Ireland, and is the lead singer with PBS phenomenon Celtic Thunder. He will be accompanied by Pianist Seamus Brett with featured performances by the Chancel Choirs of First United Methodist Church of Marietta and First Presbyterian Marietta and the fabulous Glatter-Götz Pipe Organ. This Christmas concert will include stunning renditions of your favorite Christmas carols and sing-a-longs for the entire audience.
