This effort is designed to bring our community together by providing backpacks filled with basic school supplies. Just before school starts each year, First United Methodist Church of Marietta partners with MUST Ministries and other churches to collect and distribute school supplies for local children who attend a Marietta City School. You can become a part of this valuable program by donating filled backpacks, and/or funds, or by volunteering.
Shop and fill a backpack with the items listed on the supply list (attached document here). Put all items inside the backpack, including the hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes. Label bags with Elementary (green ribbon if you have it) and Middle/High School Bags (red ribbon if you have it).
Bring your packed backpacks to the church office during the week of July 12-16, and drop off under the breezeway by the Family Life Hall, between buildings A and B.
Drop-off Times:
Monday-Thursday: 9:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 9:00am - 12:30 pm

Another way to support this community effort is to volunteer. On a smaller scale than in the past, will need volunteers to help pack backpacks, organize the donated backpacks and deliver the backpacks to the schools. CLICK HERE to select a slot.
