Christmas Poinsettias

Christmas Poinsettias ordering begins on November 19. For your generous donation of $20, on Sunday, December 17, a beautiful poinsettia will be placed in the church in loving memory of a lost family member/ friend or in honor of someone who you would like to recognize in a special way.  For many years, the Open Door Sunday School Class has supported Murphy-Harpst by placing Poinsettias in the church sanctuary as part of our Advent reflection as we look forward to the coming celebration of our Savior’s birth at Christmas.

Place your orders online or by check using an order form found at the Gathering Area. Orders close on December 11. If purchasing multiple poinsettias, please list all the names in honor or in memory.

HOW TO ORDER:
1: PURCHASE A POINSETTIA HERE.

2: IN PERSON: Visit the table in the Gathering Area on the bridge after services on Sunday, November 26, December 3, and December 10.

3: MAIL: Checks should be payable to the Open Door SSC and indicate "Poinsettia" on the note line. Orders will close on Monday, December 12.

About Murphy Harpst Children’s Center

An agency of the United Methodist Church, Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center is an independent not-for-profit organization committed to meeting the needs of severely abused and neglected young people through residential treatment, placements in specialized foster care, and community programs that serve at-risk young people and their families. Services are available to all children regardless of sex, race, color, or creed, and whose needs can be addressed and treated within the scope of program services.

Approximately 1/3 of Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center financial support comes from United Methodist Churches. Through our gifts we support the work of Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center to transform the lives of Georgia’s most vulnerable children all year long. Our love sets a place at the table for the children who need us most!
