Great American Family Picnic

Join us on Tuesday, July 4 at 6:00 p.m. for an Old Fashioned Picnic at the Park with Your Family and Friends supporting MUST Ministries, Marietta Middle School and Scouts.

Celebrate Independence Day with family and friends at the beautiful Park on Polk at Marietta FUMC. Your reservation guarantees you entrance to the beautiful, shaded park area and pre-determined lawn space for a bring your own picnic dinner, two reserved parking spots, access to organized activities, and the BEST SEATS IN TOWN for the holiday fireworks show. REGISTER HERE

When you arrive, you may drive your car up to the gate and receive curbside assistance (free of charge) from Scout Troop 277 in unloading your passengers, coolers, chairs or bags. Handicap parking space available upon request within reservation.Cold drinks will be available for purchase. Tent canopies are allowed but they must fit within your reserved space and they must be taken down before the fireworks begin. Fun free games and activities for the kids. Before the fireworks show, there will be sparklers for the kids. Once fireworks begin, all activities will cease, and participants can take their places in their reserved areas. No dogs or alcohol are allowed at the event. Individual admittance for $6.00 per person, no reservation needed, walk up’s welcome on the day of for general admission for individuals and smaller parties.

RESERVATIONS ARE LIMITED AND WILL BE TAKEN ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ONCE ALL SPOTS ARE FULL. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IN THE CASE OF CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF THE FIREWORKS SHOW. NO RAIN DATE.

You will be texted when your packet is available for pick up from the Marietta FUMC Reception desk in the Welcome Center Building A.  Church office hours are Monday -Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Packets must be picked up by Friday, June 30th at 1:00 pm
