Cub Scouts
For grades first through fifth. The boys are separated by grade level. Cub Scout Pack 277 is a part of The Children’s Ministry of First United Methodist Church of Marietta. We are dedicated to helping boys grow into confident, godly young men. Cub Scouting emphasizes involvement between boys and their parents, adult leaders and friends. The three main goals of Cub Scouting are: Personal Fitness, Character Development, and Good Citizenship. We learn a bit and have a lot of fun!
Meeting Information: Our Cub Scout Pack 277 holds den (grade level groups) meetings on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:15 p.m. in the FUSE Box (Family Life Center, third floor, back corner). These den meetings can include in-house activities and field trips. On the last Tuesday of the month, everyone meets together for a big Pack meeting for a special program and awards ceremony.
Special Events: The Cub Scout Pack has several special events during the year. These special events include:
• Rain Gutter Regatta
• Pinewood Derby
• Space Derby
• Camping
• Blue and Gold Banquet

Boy Scouts
For ages 11 to 17. The mission of Boy Scout Troop 277 is to teach Scouts self-confidence, life skills and leadership in addition to seeing that they have fun.
Meeting Information: Troop 277 meets every Tuesday from 7:30pm until 9:00pm in the Lower Room of Building C at the First United Methodist Church of Marietta located at 56 Whitlock Avenue in Marietta. Very occasionally, adult leadership will cancel a meeting or two over the Christmas or winter Holidays.
