Strengthening Families
A Ministry of Meals and Hospitality
MFUMC and the Cobb County Juvenile Court are providing a special program called Strengthening Families. The program is offered to families who are being served by the court due to problems with drugs, alcohol, or other at-risk behaviors. The program starts Thursday night, June 16th.
The families we will serve have children who have taken steps in the wrong direction and the idea is for the court to provide therapy to the whole family to strengthen them to make good decisions now and in the future.
The families will gather to eat together (our gift to them), break out for court directed therapy sessions by age groups, and return as a whole group for an activity.
This is our opportunity to strengthen the families in our community.
