Middle High

Dear Fusion Students and Families, 

 I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as your new Director of Middle High Youth Ministry here at Marietta First UMC. As a previous "First Methodist Youth" I know how important it is to have a strong church community that provides support, encouragement, and the crucial amount of craziness throughout 6th through 12th grade. The time spent in middle and high school is a time of discovery, questions, fun, and of course the necessary whip cream, paint, or slime battles essential to enter into adulthood! My husband and I are beyond blessed and thrilled to be apart of the Marietta First UMC community. Just as Paul told the people of Philippi, you already have a special place in my heart, as well, and my prayer is that together we may show each other, the community, and the world the love Christ has for us all. I look forward to meeting you all in the coming weeks. My door is always open and I look forward to meeting and getting to know each and every one of you.

Middle High Youth is grades 6th to 8th. We are involved in a lot of activities and community support. There is a special time for middle high kids on Wednesday evenings after Church Family Supper for small group time at InFusion. Sunday Night Fusion is a place where Middle High and Senior High come together for worship, learning and fun. Middle High are an important element in our youth and church community. They participate in youth choir, mission projects, retreats and worship.
