Food Drive for Center for Family Resources 
Our Faith in Action for November is a food drive for the Center for Family Resources to help with their Thanks for Giving 2010. The CFR has been providing Thanksgiving boxes to families in need in Cobb County for 25 years. CFR is working to preserve family traditions and treasured time together by providing everything each family needs to enjoy a meal at home together.
The youth will team up with an adult Sunday School class to see who can collect the most for this food drive. We will collect the food items listed below from November 1 to November 17. We will take the collected food to Jim Miller Park where food boxes will be prepared. The culmination of this project will be on Saturday, November 20 when the youth will help hand out the food boxes at Jim Miller Park from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. If you would like to help with the drive or make a donation, please contact Kathleen Bennett.

Dressing mix
Cranberry sauce
Canned or instant potatoes (sweet or white)
Canned green vegetables
Canned yellow vegetables
Non-refrigerated pie shell and pumpkin pie mix
Dried or canned milk
Roasting Pan
In addition to these items, we also welcome the following items:
- Dried beans
- Peanut butter
- Canned meat, tuna, or ham
- Rice, pasta, or cereal
- Soup
- Bread or rolls
- Canned fruit
