Project Light – ESL and GED Classes
The 2011-2012 Project Light computer-based ESL and GED programs, at St. Philip UMC, will begin the week of September 12, 2011. Additional tutors are needed to mentor our students during the 2011-2012 school year. Students will be offered two 90 minute lessons per week. English as a second language is taught on Monday and Wednesday evening. GED preparation is scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday evening. Teaching experience is not required because the software does the teaching. If you love God and people, you can be a Project Light tutor. Tutor orientation will be provided.
You are invited to grow in service and witness as you share God’s love with those we have been called to serve, while mentoring them in ESL or GED preparation. For additional information, contact Charles Sanford at: (404) 402-6347.
