Medical Mission Team to Stamp Out Killer Diseases

Physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other medical professionals: we need your help in creating a medical mission team. In order to fulfill the Four Areas of Focus of the United Methodist Church, we are working to combat the diseases of poverty by improving health globally. Our Global Mission Ministry team has established a goal to begin a short term medical mission team to Chimbote Peru. Help us augment our mission program while spreading the Word of Christ throughout the world.

Marietta FUMC is partnering with local medical professionals and non-profit organizations to offer long term medical care in one of the poorest areas of Chimbote, Peru. The team will work in Peru November 29 through December 8. Doctors, nurses, and medical professionals are needed, and non medical team members are encouraged to join the team.
