Children

 Children’s Ministry Purpose
The Bible promises parents in Proverbs 22:6 to “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.”  The desire of children’s ministry is to assist parents in teaching their children who Jesus is, to grow up in the knowledge of Him, and ultimately be transformed in His image.  We provide fun, Christ-centered activities and opportunities for children age three through 5th grade.

Children's Ministries are referred to as "Fuse" and our age groups are:  3K/4K - Sparks, K-2nd grade - Livewires, 3rd-5th grade - VOLTS.

Georgia Rambo has been Director of Children at MFUMC since 2004.  Prior to taking over the lead job, Georgia enjoyed teaching 5th grade Sunday School.  Her passion for “planting the seed” led her to leave the sales world, and join the MFUMC staff.  The kids all love Ms. Georgia!

Kelly Duncan
joined the MFUMC staff in 2005.  She served as a volunteer in many areas and was eventually offered a job because she was around so much!  Before having her own children, Kelly worked with adults and children as a Speech Therapist.

Kelly’s focuses are volunteers, publicity, and Fuse sports.
